Voice Call Content

Voice conversations are not recorded or stored by United Party Line
Parents may enable optional recording features for their own family's monitoring
Temporary call logs maintained for 30 days for safety and billing purposes only

2. How We Use Your Information

Service Delivery: Connecting users to appropriate party lines, managing subscriptions, and processing payments
Safety & Security: Monitoring for policy violations, investigating reports of inappropriate behavior, and protecting users
Parental Controls: Enabling parents to monitor, restrict, and manage their children's access
Service Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to enhance user experience (aggregated data only, no individual identification)
Communication: Sending service updates, billing notifications, and safety alerts to account holders

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

United Party Line is designed specifically for families with children and fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Parental Consent Requirements

Only adults (18+) can create accounts and add children to the service
Verifiable parental consent is required before any child under 13 can access party lines
Parents must explicitly approve which other children their child can communicate with
Parents control all aspects of their child's participation

Data Minimization

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide service
Children's full names, addresses, or photos are never collected
No behavioral tracking or advertising targeted at children
Voice conversations are not recorded by our system

Parent Rights & Access

Review all information collected about your child
Request deletion of your child's information at any time
Revoke consent and terminate your child's access
Receive notification of any material changes to this policy
Access call logs and monitoring reports for your children

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Limited sharing occurs only in these circumstances:

Service Providers: Payment processors, telecommunications infrastructure providers (with strict data protection agreements)
Legal Requirements: Law enforcement with valid warrants, court orders, or to prevent imminent harm

Important: Parents of children participating in the same party lines may see each other's contact information to facilitate parent-to-parent coordination and verification.

Data stored in secure, access-controlled facilities with regular security audits.

Access Controls

Limited employee access on need-to-know basis with strict authentication.

Personal data retained only as long as necessary, then securely deleted.

Important: While we implement robust security measures, no system is 100% secure. Parents should discuss online safety with their children and monitor their usage.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Active Accounts: Data retained while subscription is active to provide service
Call Logs: Metadata kept for 30 days for safety and billing, then automatically deleted
Canceled Accounts: Personal data deleted within 90 days of cancellation (billing records kept 7 years for legal requirements)
Parent Requests: Child information deleted immediately upon parent request (except where legally required to retain)
Safety Incidents: Records of policy violations retained for user protection and legal purposes

As an account holder, you have the following rights:

Request a copy of all data we have about you and your children

Correction

Update or correct inaccurate information in your account settings

Deletion

Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data

Unsubscribe from marketing emails (service notifications still sent)

United Party Line uses limited third-party services to provide our platform:

Cloud Hosting: Secure data centers with industry-leading security certifications

No Third-Party Advertising: We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, or any third-party services that collect data about your children for marketing purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.

Account holders will be notified by email at least 30 days before changes take effect
Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance
Parents may request account deletion if they do not agree to changes
